The moment you assign assessments, your client gets a single email from Becoming You listing everything you've assigned, with step-by-step instructions for each assessment. Here's what it looks like for a Values Bridge assignment:
What's in the email
Your name — the subject line is "{Your first name} assigned you an assessment to complete", so your client knows it's from you.
Per-assessment instructions — what the assessment is, roughly how long it takes, where to go, and how to get started.
An prepaid link for the Values Bridge — the Values Bridge is free to take, and the email includes a prepaid link allowing your clients to skip the checkout to unlock their full results, Conflict Score, and Harmony Score at no charge. It's included with their coaching — you're billed instead (see Assigning assessments).
Note: The link cannot be redeemed with any email other than what was assigned.
Replies come straight to you — if your client replies to the email, it goes to your email address, not to Becoming You.
One important detail: the email address
Your client's progress is matched to your workspace by their email address. When your client creates (or logs into) their Becoming You account to take the Values Bridge, they should use the same email address you added them with. If they use a different address, their assessment will still work — but their progress and completion won't show up in your coaching dashboard.
If a client's status seems stuck on "Assigned" even though they've told you they finished, this is the most common reason. See Tracking your clients' progress.
If the email doesn't arrive
Ask your client to check spam/junk folders for an email from Becoming You.
Check the email address on their profile (pencil icon to fix a typo).
Once the address is corrected, assign the assessment again from their profile — or contact support and we'll re-send it.
