Compare (in the sidebar) lets you connect with a partner, friend, or colleague and see where your values align — and where they don't. Both of you need a completed Values Bridge for the comparison to unlock.
Inviting someone
Open Compare and press + Add a connection.
Enter their email and press Send request. If they're already on Becoming You, the request lands in their app; if not, they get an email invitation (it expires after 30 days).
Your Sent list tracks pending invites — you can withdraw one anytime with the X.
Accepting a request
Requests from others appear under Requests, with Accept and Decline buttons:
Once accepted, you appear in each other's Your connections list:
Reading a comparison
Press See your comparison on any connection:
The comparison includes:
Profiles side by side — each of you summarized, with your top values.
Sixteen values, two rankings — a line for each value connecting its place in your ranking to its place in theirs. The closer the tiers, the calmer the line; the further apart, the more there is to talk about.
Your common ground — where the two of you start from the same place.
Bridges to build — not problems to fix, just places your values may point in different directions. Knowing them ahead of time is how small differences stay small.
You can copy a link to a comparison with its Share button — but only the two people in the comparison can open it (signed in, and still connected).
Rules worth knowing
The cap is 10 — accepted connections plus pending outgoing invites. Remove a connection or withdraw an invite to add another.
Removing a connection cuts both ways — you both lose access to each other's values. You can always reconnect later with a new invite.
Free-plan limits: if the other person is on the free plan, most of their side shows as locked — only their top value is visible. If you are on the free plan, the deeper analysis of the comparison is blurred until you upgrade. See Values Bridge Premium: what the $49 upgrade unlocks.
