The Values Bridge takes about 20 minutes and is designed to be completed in one sitting. It has two rounds of questions — your ideal life, then your current life — followed by a short demographic survey. Your progress saves as you go, so you can return later if you must step away.
Starting the assessment
From The Values Bridge in the sidebar, press Start My Assessment.
Part one: your ideal life
The first round asks you to do something unusual: picture your life exactly as you want it to be — no compromises, no constraints.
Each question is a statement. Rate how true it would be in your ideal life on a 1 to 7 scale. Answering moves you to the next question automatically; use the arrows to step back and change an answer before you submit.
A tip on answering: some questions are intentionally uncomfortable, and hedging in the middle blurs your results. If several answers cluster around the midpoint, the app will nudge you:
When you finish the round you'll be asked to confirm:
Once you submit a round, its answers are final — you can't go back and edit them.
A breather, then part two: your current life
After the first round the app gives you a short moment to reset, then asks you to shift gears: answer the same style of questions about your life as it actually is right now, day to day. Honesty here is what makes your results accurate.
The demographic survey
Last, a one-page survey — birth date, education, industry, and so on. It personalizes your report and strengthens the research behind The Values Bridge. All fields are required, and the answers are never shared or sold.
Press Submit and the app says "Finishing up" while it saves your answers and prepares your results. That's your cue to head to Your results: the first look.
Leaving and coming back
The X in the top corner pauses the assessment. You'll see "Are you sure you want to leave?" — it's designed for one sitting, but your progress is saved and you can come back.
When you return to the assessment, you'll pick up where you left off.
Can I take it without an account?
Yes — you can start the assessment before signing up. When you finish, you'll be asked to create an account so your results have somewhere to live. Your answers carry over automatically.
